Fight Fight Fight!

Yesterday was... Hmm... Interesting? Ok yes, let's go with interesting. This post is going to be for my fellow Machas and Machis of Malaysia. I would apologize if this is going to involve some touchy subjects for the Indians of Malaysia, but then I will not. Why? Because I refuse to do so.

In this post, no names will be revealed, locations will be disclosed. This could even be just fiction. No, I lie. It did happen and I want to share.

I'm Indian. I'm Filipino too. I have friends. Of all ethnicity. I'm hot tempered. Really hot tempered.

Being in a class full of whiny, noisy, irritating students got the best of me today. I mean aside from the fact that I'm 19 years old sitting around with a bunch of 17, 16 and 15 year olds of course. Oh did I mention, they were all machas, machis, sadachis and sadayens ( not being a racist ) that were all of the lower class. I mean last class student. Now, of course I'm not insinuating anything. There were students studying, talking and sleeping. The ones i got irritated with were the machans and the minachis.

At least I was stuck with a bunch of kids I already know.

* A wild friend appears from no where*

Friend : Dei, the class I jage so bad la... I cannot handle. The Indian girl tell me to shut up dei...
Me : What the fuck? Yenna la... You just take charge here, I'll go take your place.

Upon entering the class, I noticed 2 group of Minachis.

1st group : A row of 5 girls doing their school works.
2nd group: A circle of what seemed like 5 girls sitting and doing nothing...

So it was evident to me that group number 2 had a bit of an attitude problem. I'm not being stereotypical, it was just too obvious. They just gave me that famous Indian cock stare and rolling their eyes and what not. One minachi in particular caught my eye, the leader. I stared. Granted, I shouldn't have stared, but I wanted to figure out what these girls were about. I mean come on, ''Shut up" ?! These girls are 2 years younger than us and the level of disrespect is too damned high.

* Wild friend enters class *

Me : Which one told you to shut up?
Friend : The one sitting in the middle la, the fat one.

Just as I thought... The leader. No, she wasn't fat. She was tall and plump. I kept staring at her just waiting to for her to make a move so I can bust her ass...

Me : Tell me what happened exactly.
Friend : No dei, I told them why talking talking, take a book and study la.. Then the fat one said " No we wont study, shut up"

Or something like that. I kinda forgot.. But the shut up part was really said. By then my temper rose.

***
I'll continue with what happened but before that I just wanted to share some stuff.

Yesterday we were was assigned a class to "take care" off ( "we" being me and a few friends ). Upon entering the class, I just sat and observed at all the students. Most of the students were all Indian boys. Now, I know most of them and I was glad but then again I saw another side of them that I've never really seen before...

FOOLS. FOOLS everywhere.

These students are 16 and 17 year old's. What is happening here?! I've had a fare share of being exploited on the internet mainly on Facebook because apparently I don't dress according to the Indian codes. And in my head I'm like just thinking to my self

" Assholes be mad at me for wearing shorts in public and they be praising these minachis because they wear punjabi suits when they go out"

No, I don't know who these girls are nor have I any idea of their backgrounds. First impressions are important. These girls took the famous Indian cock stare to a whole new level. The feeling of wanting to just gouge their eyes out crossed my mind so many times it became annoying.

OK, OK! I know, I'm just crapping. What happened was a fight. There I said it. I am ashamed of my actions, frankly dear, I don't give a damn. They had it coming and so did me and a friend of mine. The thing I was that I wanted to settle but of course, we Indians don't really settle without making a big scene.

Note: Actual conversation was in Tamil, but I can't spell all the Tamil words, so I've interpreted to English

Minachi : AKKA! I WILL WAIT FOR YOU AFTER SCHOOL!
Me : Wait all you want ( not giving a single fuck of course )

Yes, she did call me Akka. Throughout the whole day.

Kalembe Akka!
Kalembe Ka!
Kalembe di punde!

No, I did not move. I try and I try and what do I get? A punch in the face. Course, I was no saint people. I was being a bitch too. The more she shouted, the more I kept talking. YA LA! People walking away means just shut up and go about your business la...

This girl kept barking. Barking. BARKING. What was a girl supposed to do? I confronted her right after school, and I tried settling, but no, she wouldn't have any of it.

Long story short ;

Young, stupid Indian girl : 0
Older, stupid mixed girls : 1

No. I am not proud of what happened. It sickened me. To see these young girls, turning out into these vicious savages. Oh and I asked around and found out that her brother was this big time gangster and this girl is notoriously famous. To everyone that I've inquired about this girl, this was what all of them had to say;

Note: This was an actual conversation. I wouldn't gain any benefit for just making this up.

Macha : Parachi la Akka that girl.
Me : Parachi? Why?
Macha's friend : Because her family all gangster la Akka, that's why she think she taiko.
Me :

Seriously? ...

I'm a fan of Comedy Macha's and Machi's in Facebook. I really do believe that they are genuinely trying to make a change in the Indian community. I support them all the way. After witnessing firsthand, I can definitely say that I am ashamed to see the future leaders of this nation. I truly am. OK yes, you must be thinking

What's the difference between you and the girl since you also fight with her?

There is a big difference. I respect my elders. Even if they are just a few years older than me, I respect them.  Granted I have lots of friend that are a few years younger than me, and yes I call them stupid, idiot, fool, etc. No, I'm not being a hypocrite. They are friends. I know them for years. They let me joke around with them hence, I joke around. But to the people that I've just met, yes, I give the utmost respect. Why? Because that is how I think it should be. Course, if the person is being a total shithead then no la, I will not respect you.

But you get the point right? One Akka just told you to take a book and study for awhile since there is free time, you don't just tell the Akka to "shut up". You don't want to study means just say so. WHY THE RUDENESS. There is fault on my side too, I shouldn't have stared at these girls. That would be my only mistake.

After everything that has happened, all I could think of is as follows :

The older generation Macha's and Machi's think that just because Indian girls are dressed like this

are ruining the names of the Indian society. Yenna la?

And of course seeing a girl dressed like this

are the ones saving the Indian reputations.

Only thing is the girls that are in shorts are actually

taking names and just looking fabulous while doing it.

Whereas, the ones that people think are the good apples are

just going bad. Really, really fast.

Never judge a book by it's cover.

I'm sorry if it looks like I'm taking sides here... I'm not. I am apart of this Indian community as well. I've help as much as I could and I still am. I know a lot of these kids that are just lost and I've made them see the light. Fights, booze, and gangs are not the only things that have corrupted these youngsters. Their families share and equal part in all of this madness.

Witnessing this happen right before my eyes, no, witnessing this happening to me is what that has really just compelled me to try harder in making a change. I'm changing myself too of course. Like I said, I am no SAINT.

I try to help and advice as many and I can, friend of mine have seen me do so. I get all emotional when I get into this subject. It does hurt just looking at these kids that you've known for year just deteriorating right before your eyes. It is really hard. I've actually lost hope for some of the kids that I've known. Why? Because I feel like I'm talking to a rock. No matter how many times I try to mold it, it'll just stay it's shape. So I've lost hope on some of the kids that I've known. And as for the ones that I can still try and push them towards the positive things in life, I keep pushing.

I guess what I'm just trying to say is, I'm sad. Sad to see kids turning out like this. And I'm sorry if I've offended anyone that reads this. Thank you .

  1. I think you have said what you wanted to say and done what you did. There's nothing to feel sorry about
